1 cup long-grain rice
1/2 stick butter
1 cup mushrooms sliced
1 med onion chopped
1/2 med green pepper chopped
1 teaspoon oregano
juice of 1 lemon
1 can beef bouillon undiluted
dash garlic powder
pepper to taste
1/2 cup water
Brown rice in butter. Add veggies and saute for a few minutes. Remove from heat, add remaining ingredients, mix & pour into greased baking dish. Cover with lid or foil & bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Stir before serving.
Serving Ideas: Serve with Lohoefener Salad, steak & broiled tomato halves
